These are recent images, collected by the spacecraft Dawn, which show the presence of a mountain with steep slopes and pyramidal structure on the surface of the planet Ceres, located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter in the asteroid belt.
As reported by the press department of NASA, the 'pyramid' rises to 5 km above the surface level, raising among experts the most absolute confusion about its origin.
For more uncertainty, the bright spots, ice hypothetical compounds or salts, according to NASA, increased their number to account for a total of eight on the recorded surface. One of these spots, the biggest so far, was measured by scientists, who found a diameter of 9 kilometers.

By the end of September 2007, NASA sent into space probe Dawn, the first spacecraft led the dwarf planet Ceres.
