An American woman has given birth by caesarean section to a baby weighing 6.2 kilograms and 55 centimeters high in a hospital in San Luis Valley in Colorado, after which doctors will predict that weigh about half, about 3, 1 kilos, reported by the US daily USA Today.

The baby was taken to hospital for problems respiratoriosLa girl named Mia Yasmin Garcia, was born on Monday weighing thirteen pounds and thirteen ounces, equivalent to 6,265 kilograms and a height of 22 inches, 55.8 cm.
Before birth, the doctors had told her mother Alisha Hernandez, the girl born weighing seven pounds, 3.17 kilos. Cesarean section was scheduled for Thursday, December 4, but the mother went to work on Monday and that day had to undergo caesarean section.
Alisa's cousin, the girl's mother, explained that the baby was transferred to Children's Hospital in Aurora by respitartorios problems and high blood glucose. The girl is admitted to the medical center with a stable outlook.
The girl's father is called Francisco Garcia and the family has four other children: Britney Gonzalez, Ximena Hernandez, Yulissa and Yuliana Hernandez. Garcia has said that all the staff of the Hospital of San Luis Valley was surprised to see the newborn.
Everyone was surprised to see a baby girl so "Everyone was surprised to see a baby like that," he said. "Even in San Luis Valley were on plan, wow! They have a lot of open eyes as if he had never seen a baby as well," he told.
The father said they were surprised to see the baby but until the weighed did not realize how big it was. "We thought we would though eleven or twelve pounds as a lot," he said.
The nurse, shocked
. "The nurse was shocked I was like, 'Come here !, Come here !, corred I went and said, what ?. She said, look at this !. Check it weighs thirteen pounds and thirteen ounces ", he explained the father, who has posed proudly with the girl, as shown on local television 9 News.
Parents hope to take the child home next week.
The father has recognized that even twins have jointly outweighed his new daughter. "Together weighed twelve pounds," he assured. "We have done everything possible to have a child. We never got but we are happy nonetheless," he said.
