A scientific review gave support to the prophetic prediction, according to which, this year, an asteroid will end with the planetary life as we know it today.

"We have identified about 500 near-Earth objects that could, within a hundred years, colliding with our planet, although the probability is very low," said Detlef Koschny, department head of the European Space Agency, during a scientific meeting in Italy.
Following the announcement, the self-styled prophet Efrain Rodriguez, invoking supposedly have received a divine message, he predicted that life as we know it today, will perish.
