When practicing a sport to improve your fitness or lose those extra pounds you think you can spare, certainly not one has come to mind dancing. To me of course I love it and today I claim that this physical activity should be considered a sport, as it may be to go to the gym or swimming. Of course!

Dance is a physical activity that aerobic work you do is important, since you're on the move and, therefore, your heart has to work harder to respond adequately to the demand. Like any physical activity, to be truly effective you must practice regularly. The dance includes a wide variety of styles and, not surprisingly, not all styles involve the same effort and, therefore, are not all equally effective.
An example of the effectiveness of dance can see it in the many new forms of sport that group are entering the gym. In addition to heart, it has shown that dance helps to improve aspects as your blood sugar level or blood pressure.
Improve the position of your body
The dance requires that your body is properly aligned to practice and therefore helps you achieve the best position to do so. It also helps to strengthen your bones and muscles, and increases the flexibility of these. An example of the benefits of dance for your bones, is that it is one of lar, as recommended for people with osteoporosis or at risk of suffering physical activities. This strengthening makes your body maintain proper posture, and that allows to avoid the appearance of injuries resulting from this poor posture.
Regular practice of dance makes your body go acquiring or improving gradually different capabilities, such as agility, flexibility and coordination. Improving these skills allows your body to be able to prevent injury and reduce the severity of these.
