Latest technologies have inspired a revolutionary architectural proposal includes the construction of buildings able to electromagnetically levitated seismic and flooding threats.

During recent times, Greg Henderson, founder Arx Pax, worked closely with a group of inventors to develop what he calls 'Magnetic Field Architecture' (MFA, or 'architecture Magnetic Field' in Spanish) , a type of electromagnetic technology, able to make objects levitate.

The idea has already been tested with the creation of flying skateboards, the style of the hoverboard, the famous hovercraft 'Back to the Future', a very similar principle applied in the high-speed train Maglev system.

During an interview with Forbes magazine, Henderson said: "The idea came from trying to levitate the buildings during earthquakes. All I was looking for patterns corresponding to moving objects, so I asked, why? If I can do a levitating train, why not a home? ". He explained that the technique is very similar to the principle that the tables 'air hockey' work, although with a reverse operation, through electromagnetism and Lenz's law.

The company plans to construct buildings on a huge plate of copper or aluminum, with magnets. Faced with the threat of an earthquake, the electromagnets are activated to the property slightly off the ground, avoiding the consequences of any tremor.
